for those of you guys who have followed the milwaukee iron you probably remember tyler donovan was our starting quarterback until he suffered a knee injury that was only supposed to keep him out for 4 weeks. since then he was placed on ir but recently i have a feeling that the former badger may have been released since the milwaukee iron now have 42 year old todd hammel and newly signed qb chris malleo out of northwestern. since tyler appears to have had a hard time staying in pro football, is there a chance that maybe he come play semi-pro? could maybe we convince him to come play for us? what do you guys think?

I have a feeling that IF he were interested in playing semi-pro ball that the Wolfpack already have their claws into him. They were really trying hard to get him for the indoor season. Knowing Kopac...I'm sure Tyler has been called on more than one occasion to go play for them. Either way...have a phone number?

Sorry Mr. Tyrcha I don't know him personally. I just remember watching him play on TV for the Badgers and doing quite well and then heard before the Iron's season started that he was going to be playing for them alongside former Ironman Football League QB Shane Adler. In fact he could still be on the Iron's injured reserve list but truth be told the website no longer says. But maybe someone else would know.

Hey get this Tyler Donovan has his own website and you can contact him or his agent too. If you want me to try to leave him a message on his website about maybe coming and playing for the Hitmen I can do that or if not go to www.tylerdonovan12.com/TD.html. I'm not sure I should be calling his agent because I haven't been trained to do that.

Dangit!!!! I've been trying to leave him e-mails through his website contact page but it keeps telling me there was an error!!! I'll keep trying but I don't know if I can get anything to go through. But then again will they even listen? If not he apparently has a facebook page too but I'm not allowed to go on that. My mother would kill me.

Uh Tom, I hate to burst your bubble but if Tyler Donovan came to play with us I'm not sure he would be a backup. Note: this is not in any way, shape, or form an attack on our current QB corp right now. But in all honesty I do think maybe we could use a little help if we can get it.

@Hitwarrior2008:
Rosters were locked months ago. League rules prevent late additions. It would be very difficult to slip something like that under the radar.

How about next season then? That oughta make some interesting headlines about an epic QB position battle. Has anyone else tried to contact him at all via his website because I failed.

Update on Tyler Donovan: We may not really be able to get him to play for us. I talked with Iron Head Coach Gary Compton and he said that Tyler Donovan is currently working a job in Chicago after he was told in week 10 (when he became healthy enough to play again) that he was going to be a backup to Milwaukee legend Todd Hammel (who came out of retirement on short notice). So yes gentlemen Tyler Donovan is no longer a member of the Milwaukee Iron.
