i've got a couple ideas for some new stuff on the site. the current project on the drawing board is an upgrade to the video player on the site it will look the same, but it will be lighter weight in filesize about 1/3 the size. the current version is about 95kb.
this is just to load up the player itself. no screen shots, no video just and empty player.

it's a beast and on a dial up, very slow. right now the new version i'm working on is only 15kb, which makes it screamin fast. also will come support for hd! well, as hd as video on the web gets i suppose. so you will have the option to load a low, med, high & hd version of the video. the down side is that the hd vids take advantage of the h.264 codec, which is what they use for blueray disc and it is pretty cpu intensive. so if don't have a pretty powerful computer, it will probably push it to the max.

disclaimer: if your computer starts smoking and the room starts shaking...it's not my fault.

upgraded the user search bar thingy to display positions and names correctly, as well is display profile avatars

I also upgraded the PM system. While you could always send a message to multiple people at once, it wasn't obvious that you could or how to do it.  So now the PM compose forms have a built in user search bar thingy. just start typing the name of who you want, and then click on the name to add it to the list. You can add as many names as you want and your message will be sent to everyone!

Kinda like they do up on myfacetube

Note, this is only avaialible when starting a new message. If you are
replying or clicked the 'send pm' link on someones profile, you don't
get the auto completer - in these cases you already know who you are
sending the message to.

Doing a bunch of javascript upgrades. reworked a lot of the sites base code to be a little faster. Also pushing a upgrade to the site text editor code. Will be adding a button that will allow you to search for photos in the main database and insert them into the documents with out having to know the URL. Might even get it done today!

The text editor now allows you to search the photos we have in the database. Just like the member search start typin and it will go and find the picture.

it is searching based on title, so if you uploaded the picture it is the title you gave it. In the cases of games the titles a kind of odd.

You can usually search by the name of the team we played or date. Play around and try it out.

And to illustrate, here is the last pic i uploaded

all dialog boxes ( log ins, various forms, etc ) are now all draggable. you can grab it around the title and move it where ever you want on the page.
